40 Days of Grace- Day 32

Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope we find of eternal life.

Justification and grace. e are justified (just as if I’d never sinned) by His grace, and this justification gives us the hope we have of eternal life. We have a hope that no one else in the world can have apart from the grace of God. It’s God’s grace that enables us to stand with confidence that we will one day live with our creator forever, we will live with all of our newly adopted family forever, and experience the magnificent and glorious results of God’s grace forever. Eternal life and Grace, Justification and Grace, the Holy Spirit and Grace, the rebirth and grace, salvation and grace, and the kindness and love of God through grace. How can we not worship Him?

  1. Thinking of the Song:”The Steadfast Love of the Lord never ceases, His Mercies never come to an end…”
“”They are new every Morning, new every Morning…”

  2. When we are reconciled (reborn) we now live for Christ and not for ourselves. We become a light for all to see the Christ in all things. We are a new person free from the baggage of sin. I like the songs: “Change My Heart O God” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”. Can’t beat reading the Bible in the a.m.!

  3. Ephesians 1:7 (NIV)

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

Yes, we are justified by grace through faith. However, we have to do more than say with our lips that we love, worship and serve Jesus Christ. We are to live the life of service, without grumbling. Our faith is dead unless we produce fruit, which shows God that we are not self-centered, but filled with His love, mercy and forgiveness for everyone.

    Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

    Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV)

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

    Philippians 2:14-16 (NIV)

14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[a] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

  4. You are my God, and I will give you thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. Psalms 118:28,29.

  5. Grace does not deny work or service. As a matter of fact, it encourages service. Grace is the key to service. Grace provides yielding to the Holy Spirit. Grace is the key to yielding. Another way to say it, without grace yielding is impossible. It took me thirty years to grasp this spiritual key understanding. God can do marvelous things through a man or woman who is wholly yielded to the Holy Spirit. There is no victory any other way!

  6. The “Law” inspires good works ‘in order’ to prove a doubting watcher that faith is there; but in the “Covenant of Grace” one might do even the exact same ‘good ‘ work; but motive is of Love, true Compassion, or because that is who he/she is. A dog barks because that is what a dog does. A believer does Good because he has been made “Good!”
