New Year’s Eve Service
We will be having a combined service at 9:00 a.m. this Sunday, December 31st in place of our usual 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 services. After the service, we’ll have a special New Year’s potluck luncheon. Join us as we celebrate 2017 and look forward to 2018! Visitors welcome!
Grandparents Day Sunday and Potluck
Sunday, October 29th will be Grandparents Day Sunday at Good Shepherd! Bring your grandparents with you to the service! If you are a grandparent, bring your grandchildren. If you don’t have grandparents or grandchildren, find some and bring them! The combined service will be at 9:00 a.m. in place of our usual 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 services. We’ll be having a potluck immediately after the service.
Fifth Sunday Potluck – Sunday, July 30th
We will be having our next Fifth Sunday Potluck tomorrow, July 30th after the 10:30 service (around 12 noon). Bring your favorite foods to share! Visitors are welcome!
Ladies’ Prayer Breakfast – May 13
Our next Ladies’ Prayer Breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 10:00 AM in the church library (note the room change.) We are so honored to welcome a refugee friend from the Middle East at this Saturday’s prayer breakfast. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear her and her family’s amazing testimony as we fellowship together! Friends and visitors welcome!
Fifth Sunday Potluck and Mission India Sunday
We are having our 5th Sunday potluck following the 10:30 service this week. We will be hearing from the Stetsons about their recent trip to Mercy Mission in India. Let’s make this Sunday Mission India Sunday! Please come prepared to give an offering at the luncheon for Mercy Mission. What a blessing to be a part of what God is doing around the world!
Palm Sunday Services
Holy Week is here! Join us as we celebrate Palm Sunday this Sunday, April 9th at our 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Both services include communion, liturgy, and a message from Fr. Marc. The 10:30 service also includes traditional and contemporary music and a children’s sermon. Sunday School starts at 9:30 AM for adults and children. Women’s Personal Safety
The Cedar Hill Police Department’s Police and Community Team (PACT) will be presenting at our Ladies’ Brunch tomorrow, April 8th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Topics include parking lot safety, dealing with panhandlers, what to do in the event of an active shooter, and more. We’re privileged to have Officer Ann McSwain sharing with us during the event. Visitors welcome!
Lenten Soup Dinners

Pancake Supper
We will be having a pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday, February 28th at 6:00 p.m. This is a long-held tradition in the Anglican church. Come and join us as we leave the season of Epiphany and prepare for Lent. Visitors welcome!
